The
staff at Palisades is specially chosen for their certification,
experience, flexibility and the joy they bring to the child
care profession.
Our staff is also trained to respond to the needs of each child,
and to help each child learn, adjust and make the most of their
experiences. Because our child-to-staff ratios are superior
even to those required by the State, we can devote extra time
and attention to every child.
A strong relationship between parents and Center staff ensures
that your child receives customized care --- so we encourage
parents to visit our center as often as you’d like. This enables
parents to be actively involved with your child’s activities
and care, even when you can’t be here full time.

Our
nursery is specially designed for all the needs of your little
one. This bright, happy environment is equipped with see-through
cribs to ensure that our trained staffs have full-view access
at all times.
A special air purification system allows our babies to eat,
sleep, drink, dream, play and grow in comfort and cleanliness.
Music, stories an laughter fill the room inside, while outside
strolls provide fresh air, trees, butterflies and sunshine.
We help our babies stand and walk, feed themselves and learn
about their world with a blend of fascination and imagination. |
When
your child becomes a toddler, many rites of passage have already
occurred; your child is now walking and feeing independently
and is ready for a whole new world  to
explore.
We help our toddlers develop both fine and large motor skills
with art projects, finger foods, dancing, climbing and plenty
of outside play in our own safety-secured playground.
Playing with other toddlers and sharing are taught during group
games, activities, sing-alongs and show & tell. Our “just my
size” bathroom facilities make toilet-training easier for your
child - and easier for you! |

Being
fully toilet-trained serves as a graduation to pre-school, where
brand-new experiences await your child.
Our educationally appropriate curriculum includes learning the
alphabet and number, while we stimulate both the imagination
and manual dexterity by learning to color, cut, paste and  finger-paint.
Of course, our outdoor playtime is expanded with organized games,
ball sports and climbing to further master motor skills.
Monthly field trips help introduce our pre-schoolers to the
community and how it works. |
Children
are ready for kindergarten preparation around the age of four.
Our advanced curriculum was specifically designed to build your
child’s writing skills are sharpened, as well as a strong understanding
of group dynamics.
Structured time is set aside for work and play (and laughter!),
introducing some of the discipline - and the fun - of school.
Our children graduate ready to meet the academic, physical and
social challenges of kindergarten with self-reliance and excitement. |
